What is VerifyProduct.ng?
VerifyProduct.ng is a consumer product verification platform that helps users access available information about product registration in Nigeria.
The platform allows you to search for a product by its name or by its NAFDAC registration number. Where matching information is available, the search results display details that can help you understand the product record available on the platform.
VerifyProduct.ng is designed to make this information easier to access and understand. It does not replace official verification from NAFDAC or another relevant regulatory authority.
What do I need to use the platform?
You do not need to create an account to search for a product. You only need one of the following:
Product name
Enter the name of the product you want to search for.
NAFDAC registration number
Enter the NAFDAC registration number printed on the product packaging.
Your first product search
The basic verification process is straightforward. Follow these steps to perform your first search.
Open the search page
Go to the Verify Product page and locate the search field.
Enter your search
Enter either the product name or the NAFDAC registration number you want to check.
Start the search
Select the search or verification button to submit your query.
Review the result
Review the product information and verification status returned by the platform.

The two search methods are useful in different situations.
Product name
Useful when you want to find available records associated with a particular product or brand name.
NAFDAC number
Useful when you have the registration number printed on a product and want to check for a matching record.
What happens after you search?
The platform compares your search with the product information available to VerifyProduct.ng. Depending on the result, you may see product details and a verification status.
A matching record may provide information such as the product name, NAFDAC number, manufacturer and category.
A search result should not automatically be treated as proof that the physical product in your possession is genuine or safe.
Important limitation
Finding a product record does not by itself confirm the authenticity, quality, safety or condition of a particular physical product. Product information can also change over time. Where you have concerns about a product, use the appropriate official regulatory channels for further verification or reporting.
